Increased employability of persons with disabilities and long-term unemployed persons through the program of employment clubs
Short description of the project:
In mid-April 2019, the Centre for Social Inclusion Šibenik launched the project "Development of a network of employment clubs in Šibenik-Knin County". The total value of the project is HRK 954,494.50 and is fully financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund. The main goal is to contribute to the effective implementation of county human resources development strategies, and the specific goal is to increase the employability of vulnerable groups in our county.
The project will launch employment clubs adapted to the needs of unemployed vulnerable groups, where they will develop their own knowledge and skills. They will also be provided with regular individual counselling. On the other hand, with young people, primary and secondary school students, research will be conducted on information needs and workshops aimed at better preparing students for entering the labour market. Based on the conducted research, workshops and field visits will be created according to the expressed needs of the students.
Together with our partners, we will develop an employment model with support and create and implement a pilot training program for service-tourism professions.
